Bug Description

Binary package hint: ghc6-doc

This is basically a dupe of #403317 which was marked invalid -- the bug persists. Something is wrong with the docs for Data.Word8, and the package fails to install every time I update. The error is as follows:

Setting up ghc6-doc (6.10.4-1ubuntu2) ...
haddock: internal Haddock or GHC error: Data.Binary.getWord8: end of file
dpkg: error processing ghc6-doc (--configure):
subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1

Hi,

Can you try to purge ghc6 and ghc6-doc (if partially installed) and try again?

Thanks.

I purged both ghc6 and ghc6-doc, reinstalled and got the same error with
haddock. When doing so I got a warning about /usr/share/doc/ghc-doc not
being empty, so I rm -rf'ed it, purged ghc6 and ghc6-doc again, and
reinstalled one more time -- same problem.
