Bug Description
In the lack of software in the Reps for supporting the EtherCAT standard, i found the etherlab project and the EtherCAT-Master.

It has a lot of features and a well documentation. http://
This software is used in the automation industry for real time communication with the PC.
Maybe packaging with minor priority would be possible. Installation and integration with rtai, xenomai or other would be simple.
