applying changes window does not appear in window list bar

Bug Description

The update manager windows are reachable via alt-tab, but not on the window list. This makes it hard to tell that its running - and is very confusing when clicking on the update manager notification and nothing happens.

During download and installation the main window can not be used and is locked. So I decided to not show the dialog in the window list, too. But this will perhaps change.

Could please elaborate the nothing happens issue. I don't understand how to reproduce this.

I was unable to reproduce this using update-manager version 0.81 on Gutsy.

Is this bug about the fact that the dialog and progress windows update-manager uses are not in the task bar at the bottom?

I can't reproduce this on karmic anymore. The progress windows aren't in the alt-tab list or the taskbar, but the main window is, so this should be perfect.
