In System Services you can't add or remove scripts

Bug Description

Binary package hint: kde-guidance

It can be very usefull to add or remove scripts from the gui, this is only possible via update-rc.d

It depends on the services that are installed in /etc/init.d/, those are read automatically.

yes but a new script (not in a package) should be installed only via console... why linux is still so restricted to let GUI have the same power of the console or at least something similar???

Linux will never have a great diffusion whithout console-dependent that it's still is.
Very bad this reject!
