libvarnish-dev does not install /usr/lib/libvarnishapi.so

Bug Description

Binary package hint: varnish

The file /usr/lib/libvarnishapi.la contains the following line:

library_names='libvarnishapi.so.1.0.0 libvarnishapi.so.1 libvarnishapi.so'

But the installed files are only:
ls -l /usr/lib/libvarnishapi*
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 22212 2009-06-15 21:37 /usr/lib/libvarnishapi.a
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 961 2009-11-25 15:38 /usr/lib/libvarnishapi.la
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 22 2009-11-25 15:26 /usr/lib/libvarnishapi.so.1 -> libvarnishapi.so.1.0.0
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 20632 2009-06-15 21:37 /usr/lib/libvarnishapi.so.1.0.0

This makes building against libvarnish impossible because libtool will look for a /usr/lib/libvarnishapi.so but it doesn"t exist (should be a symlink)

Varnish 2.1.3-2 has been uploaded to Debian, and contains a fix for this issue.

Chances are, it'll be available for Ubuntu quite soon.
