Bug Description
Under Lucid alpha, speakup-source fails to compile. Normally, a user can compile and install this module with:
$ sudo apt-get install speakup-source espeakup
$ sudo m-a a-i speakup-source
However, Lucid has sensitized a bug in speakup/
Please note that this package is crucial for the blind, and IMO needs to be included in Lucid quickly, so that the blind can help us in making Lucid the most accessible Linux ever. Without it, several blind programmers will have to sit on the side-lines, unable to help out.
