Bug Description

My wpasupplicant.conf is configured correctly like my provider told me, but when i try to
start wpasupplicant with the following command i get this error:

ioctl[IPW_IOCTL_WPA_SUPPLICANT]: Operation not supported

Debian people had a similar problem, read here:
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=296291

But this problem does still exist in Ubuntu 6.06 dapper drake.

I hope this will be fixed vey soon.

You are sure you are using "wpa_supplicant -Dwext" instead of the obsolete "-Dipw"?
