Bug Description

Can you please include libXrender.la in libxrender? I can't compile my app without it (gPHPEdit) and apparently Amarok requires the same thing (it's called in by gdk-2.0.pc).

I've followed the instructions at http://www.ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=57443&page=2 and got it working, but it really could do with it by default.

No, we have purposefully gotten rid of .la files.

gdk-2.0.pc doesn't reference libXrender.la:
