Bug Description

Image at http://ports.ubuntu.com/dists/lucid/main/installer-armel/current/images/imx51/netboot/babbage-TO2/babbage-TO2-sd.img fails to establish network connection either through dhcp or via static (manual) setup. System works fine on live/installed images.

eth0: tx queue full! (repeats multiple times)

Tobin - how are you booting this image? directly from redboot via a HTTP load?

The babbage-TO2-sd.img is an sd card image file that contains the redboot loader, kernel, and initrd. I haven't had a chance to get a tftp server online yet to do any other methods.

this image is closer to the debian minimal iso, it boots locally but gets all packages from online resources.
the network connection works if you retry the netcfg step in the installer multiple times, i suspect the fix for bug #457878 will also fix this one.

OK, we should check to see if a netinstall build with the fix from #457878 addresses this issue, otherwise I'll look into this further.
