Bug Description
I have Ubuntu 6.0.6.1 and just after I updated my Xserver to ver. 7 it stoped working on start up. This is the third time when i get such an error and the last 2 times i reinstall the Ububntu.
I use Ati radeon 9550. I reconfigured the xorg few times - no success. I reinstalled the xserver - still nothing. I am not sure why Ubuntu keep thinking my video is radeon 9600 instead of 9550, but i dont think the problem is there. I tried switching the driver to vesa, vga - still xserver does not work.
I am sick and tirred of that bug, so please help me save my linux...
