Bug Description

in my /etc/inittab i have
# /sbin/getty invocations for the runlevels.
#
# The "id" field MUST be the same as the last
# characters of the device (after "tty").
#
# Format:
# <id>:<runlevels>:<action>:<process>
#
# Note that on most Debian systems tty7 is used by the X Window System,
# so if you want to add more getty's go ahead but skip tty7 if you run X.
#
1:2345:respawn:/sbin/getty 38400 tty1
2:23:respawn:/sbin/getty 38400 tty2
3:23:respawn:/sbin/getty 38400 tty3
4:23:respawn:/sbin/getty 38400 tty4
5:23:respawn:/sbin/getty 38400 tty5
6:23:respawn:/sbin/getty 38400 tty6

but it's doesn't work when i do ALT+CTRL+F1 or F2,F3,F4,F5 and F6, i have a black screen

i don't know if it's the good package.

perhaps this is a framebuffer problem. could you please tell us what graphics hardware you're using? Please attach the output of "lspci -vv" (without the quotes) using the website.

Also, the output of "cat /etc/X11/xorg.conf|grep Driver" (again without the quotes).

Lastly, if you use CTRL+ALT+F1 to get to tty1 and then hit enter several times, does the login prompt come into view?
