Bug Description

After about 3 or 4 hibernations, the system will resotre just fine. However, no new windows can be created. For example no xterm, no evolution. Existing windows work fine. /var/log/messages /var/log/xorg do not show any errors. Nor do running xterm in the terminal. Running xterm in the terminal never reports anything (although I may not be waiting long enough).

I have a dell inspiron 5100, using the open source ati xorg driver. I have a mobility M7. Everything works after hibernate except this bug. No errors!

I'd be happy to provide more info, but do not know how to gather more info.

Thanks,

Ok, I think the problem was with xauthority locking up for some reason. Closing the bug.
