Bug Description

When trying to play the first MP3 after opening Amarok it said that MP3 support was not available and asked if I wanted to install it. I clicked "Yes" and the program did nothing. It should have installed libxine-extracodecs.

Steps to reproduce:
Install xine (without extracodecs package)
Install Amarok
Run Amarok
Try to play MP3 file
Click "Yes" when prompted to install MP3 support

Expected Result:
Package manager gets launched after obtaining SUDO authorization
Package libxine-extracodecs is installed.

I had the same problem but it was because Synaptic was open... You should close your apt GUI and try it again..
