Edgy (knot-2) puts two icons on screen for mounted partition

Bug Description
I have 2 icons on the screen for hda3...my dapper partition which Edgy mounts on boot, One is called hda3, the other hda3(2). This all comes after the installer insisted my hd was a scsi drive when it's really an IDE. That has apparently been resolved by the Kernel people.
