Bug Description
1) Computer with an ICE1712-based sound card configured to pass all inputs through the mixer to the digital output.
2) Play something from either digital or analog inputs during the rest of the steps.
4) Run envy24control to observe input levels of the sound card.
4) Do one of the following behaviors:
a) Move the mouse rapidly across the desktop
b) Run a terminal and do one of the following:
i) Let it idle
ii) Run a program such as dopewars which has blinking text and full-screen changes
5) Observe the sound from analog or digital inputs not being played but still showing as input levels in envy24control

Sounds like a kernel driver issue to me. What's the output of "uname -r"?
