When i try to install nessus with
"sudo apt-get install nessus"
It say it have errors an cant install succesfully.
Then I restart my PC when reach GDM I use my account (not root) and GNOME can't start.Only root can do it.

I try everyway and I solve this problem by "sudo chmod 777 /tmp"

Hope it will useful,

What error did you get exactly? Does /tmp permissions change every day? That's not likely to be gconf doing that

No It change that time only. When I start GDM, I'm recommended to see in ~/.xsession-errors (they also report that there have package installation fault) and it say in .xsession-errors that it dont have permission to /var/log/wtmp and /var/run/utmp. I'm sorry for dont have that logs file backup.

that bug lacks details to be useful, I'm marking it as rejected since it only happened once apparently and you didn't keep the log. Feel free to reopen with the asked details if you get the issue again
