xchat on Edgy don't exec comand on startup

Bug Description
Binary package hint: xchat
On Edgy xchat (2.6.6-0ubuntu2) don't exec the "Connect Command" after connecting on the channel.
When i launch xchat, it make a autoconnection at the irc server and auto join the channel.
At this point the command in the box: "Networks List"-> Edit-> "Connect Command" could be execute,d but isn't executed.
I've tryied with "/mode" commando and with "LOAD -e file" , but don't works.
