problem with net on a hp nx6125 turion 64 with edgy eft

I've a hp nx6125 with amd turion 64 processor. I try the new version edgy eft with some upgrades but i've some problem.
When i put in the dns adress in the prefereces/administration/net on the wired connection, the sistems don't remember the adress. Sometimes i've to rewrite it.
Another problem is on the wireless connection card. I can't use it (i don't know why) and i can't turn on-off directly from the dedicated button on the top of keyboard.
