Bug Description
Upon booting the LiveCD, I selected the default option. It loads through casper and heads into the loading splash, sliding through the loading of the kernel, drivers, configuring X, and a few others; then it seems to try and load into X, but the screen falls black, with subtle dark grey lines in the blackness.
The videocard is a ATi Radeon Mobile 7500 (r100), and the only difference in this machine from the default is my PCMCIA Atheros wifi card. This test was in the Ubuntu Edgy Knot 2, both in default and safe-graphics mode. I'm testing the Kubuntu LiveCD to see if I get the same problem.
