Bug Description

Binary package hint: linux-source-2.6.15

i'm not able to use my sd-flash reader in ubuntu; other operating systems handle it well
hasn't worked in dapper.. i can't recall if i tried breezy
i put an sd card in, the card reader light will light up for a bit and then turn off;
i suppose this is an obscure device..
laptop is an acer ferrari 3400

thanks for your time
