Gaim 2.0.0beta3.1.1 crashes on exit

Bug Description

System details:
Edgy knot 2 with updated packages
Running on XGL and Compiz.

What happens:
When Gaim is asked to quit through the menu or the system tray icon, the system tray icon disappears but the buddy list remains on the screen in an unresponsive state. The window has to be force-closed for it to disappear

Replicability:
Happens every time without exception

Thanks for your bug? Could you get a backtrace with gdb and with the gaim-dbg package installed? What protocols do you use?

Protocols used: Yahoo and Jabber (GTalk)

This is the backtrace I got from gdb. The first time I'm using it, so will need guidance if you need more info:

Did you install gaim-dbg?

For gdb:
-gdb gaim
(gdb) run
[close to get the crash]
(gdb) thread apply all bt

that should display the backtrace

Yes. The above backtrace I got after installing gaim-dbg and running gdb .

The problem seems to occur only on using the Galago plugin
