Mousewheel behavior opposite to what is expected

Thanks for your bug. That request has been rejected upstream already, you can read about it on http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=332491. What are the "every app in Ubuntu" you are mentionning? Rhythmbox acts the other way around and upstream pointed a rhythmbox bug about it

Any app with a horizontal slider. Just open an image on EOG, zoom in to make the sliders appear, hover the button over the horizontal one and scroll down.

See what happens? Every other app is consistent with that behavior, save Totem.

Sure, but I fail to see the relation between zooming in/out and moving up/down/left/right.

I mean, does FFWing a movie in Totem zoom it in or something? How is that related?

have you read the upstream bug I pointed with a previous comment? anyway I've no strong opinion on that, as written before better to argue upstream
