Bug Description
Hi,
I'm an edgy spanish user and when I try to type an accented vowel like ó or à or "ñ" nothing happens.
It only happens on gnome, in gdm I can type these keys...
I have spanish layout configured and a keyboard pc 105.
I think it's a bug of gnome but not sure.
Thanks.

I can confirm this, due I have a similar problem... I've upgraded my kubuntu distribution to edgy, but when I restarted my system, I was unable to white accented character, all what I get is a "Ž".
For example:
I want to write this: "¡es el camión más rápido que he visto!"
But I get: "¡es el camiŽon mŽas rŽapido que he visto!"
Cheers!
