Bug Description
Binary package hint: wacom-tools
Open any paint program, draw moderate length strokes (~100-200 pixels). Look for any sudden 'dips' in your stroke, which may occur on nearly regular intervals between each stroke.
A screenshot of the issue, using the paint program Gogh, is shown below:

Assuming the server is up -- which it usually is -- you should be able to spot the issue immediately. Although Gogh was used as demonstration, it affects any paint program I have tried. I had been using this tablet for much longer in 'another OS', and this problem never surfaced.
I also drew a much longer stroke in red, to show the problem typically only arises at the beginning of a new stroke.
The tablet, specifically, is a Wacom Intuos 2, 6"x8" (A5), serial (... yes, serial, as in DB9). I am using the latest version of wacom-tools.
