Sept 19 updates break suspend on notebook

Bug Description

enters suspend fine, will not return.

text screen reporting several times (screen scrolls)

unexpected bus power failue
unexpected cmd12 error

Gnome never returns, system is hung at this point (at least this terminal)

booting with old kernel results in same problem, so problem is likely in another package that came along with the same update.

With what version of Ubuntu is this? Can you please attach the output of 'dmesg', 'lspci -vv' and 'lspci -vvn' ? Thanks for reporting this.
