Bug Description

"E:The package jedit needs to be reinstalled, but I can't find an archive of it."

I'm new on Ubuntu, and I don't understand all manipulations...

I just wanted to install "jedit" but my computer sayed to me that it cannot install it. (I speak only a little bit english, I'm swiss and speak french. If you can help me I will be happy)

I was looking for a program for coding HTML, and I fellt on a french site with serveral program. Not all are free, and I chose jedit (free and "good"). It isn't in the package but there is a package to downloa (http://www.jedit.org/index.php?page=download)

I download it and tryed to install it, but it didn't work...

Yesterday I reinstalled Ubunutu, all is okay now, but I don't understand the problem...

I'm not exactly sure what you were trying to do when you got that error. Nevertheless, since jedit is not in the Ubuntu repositories, I'm afraid that we cannot accept bug reports for it. Try speaking to the supplier of the Jedit package. Nevertheless, thanks a lot for taking the time to report this!
