Bug Description

Binary package hint: linux-image-2.6.17-9-generic

I don't do many intensive builds, so this may not be specific to sugar-jhbuild.

I get this:

The VT it was running in is now dead and frozen. When running in a gnome-terminal it causes X to freeze and makes vt switching impossible.

Please let me know what else I can provide. This has happened a lot over the last 4 kernel releases.

I've re-tested the memory in the laptop. It's now testing bad, so I'm going to return it, and I assume that this report was caused by this.

Can this report be closed pending new ram?

Thanks,

-Peter
