-Downloading normally
-users disconnected
-last user disconnects -> no peers attached any longer -> NullPointerException.

Still, I get the same error on Edgy with its Azureus. I will try Sun's JVM next. This problem seems to be the same as the one reported in http://www.ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=231246
