Bug Description
Binary package hint: usplash
I am running edgy on a macbook pro, and when i boot the splash screen appears correctly however the colours are very off and the ubuntu logo looks really messed up, could this be a framebuffer issue? The correct resolution for my macbook pro is 1440 x 900, is it possible to run the splash screen at this resolution?

This is fixed in bzr, and will be uploaded after beta freeze is over. The BIOS in Macs doesn't support palettised modes for some reason.
