Bug Description

(This might be a duplicate of #50317, but the message before crashing is different, hence the new report)

When starting fontforge I get the following:

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you? Can you try with latest Ubuntu release? Thanks in advance.

For me in Hardy i386, it starts.
At least up to asking a font file, or proposing to create a font.
Since I don't know where to find a font on my system...

Changed in fontforge:
assignee: nobody → dufresnep
status: New → Incomplete

It does start for me in Gutsy as well. Whether the underlying bug has been fixed, or just the configuration that caused it is gone, I have no idea.

I don't know if that's good enough to close this bug?

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. However, I am closing it because the bug seems fixed in the latest development version of Ubuntu - the Hardy Heron, and in current version, Gutsy.

sorry, both for the double post and for posting on a bug that was fixed several years ago. i suppose i should create a new bug for this, but i'm not quite sure how, as i'm pretty new to launchpad
