Video stretched when running ATI dual desktop

Bug Description

I run Ubuntu Dapper with two screens on a ATI 9800 Pro. To get dual screen working i used this command:

sudo aticonfig --dtop=horizontal

This way i can use a big desktop on two screens. when i maximise a screen it maximises to one screen only. Even fglrx works in this setup.

When i play a video in Totem(-Xine in this case, but believe it happened also in gstreamer) my Totem video is also stretched, so the screen is twice as wide as normal. This way a 4:3 video becomes 8:3. This happens in Totem itself and in the firefox-plugin.

Thank you for your bug. Did you update to edgy, do you still have that problem? Do you have the same problem if you use an another player like xine-ui to open that video?
