Bug Description

Binary package hint: ubufox

I install Ubuntu UE 2.7 and try to install isabel, when it fell, i did the folowing:
Add the following line to /etc/apt/sources.list:
deb http://ubuntu.dit.upm.es/ karmic extras

then,
apt-get update

apt-get install libavcodec52

apt-get install isabel412

apt-get install isabel

That explains the error, but the question is why ubufox is considered completly replaced. The log does not mention xul-ext-ubufox which seems to be the only thing in main that replaces ubufox

Everybody affected by this bug seems to be running Ubuntu Ultimate Edition, please correct me if I'm wrong

The issue seems to be that a repository shipped with Ubuntu Ultimate Edition contains a package called ultimate-edition-customizations, which replaces every file in ubufox.

mvo suggests this confuses apt:

Anyway, I'll reassign this to apt. There's nothing really for us to do in the Ubuntu ubufox package, but the ultimate-edition guys could work around it if they want to
