USB Keyboard is not detecting.

This has nothing to do with CUPS. A not working keyboard is most probably a kernel problem.

But the normal keyboard from my friend is working fine. I just love using the Ubuntu linux since it has debian as its base. Just planning to fix the problem. As with SUSE of my friends system the keyboard is deteted
and is fine.

What kind of keyboard is it?

Frontechplus slim keyboard JIL-8062. I am using normal keyboard to use ubuntu linux. Is there any way i can get help to use USB keyboard. Because usb keyboard is very good and easy to type.

              I have posted this long back and i have recently upgraded the Linux. It is working fine without any problems.
