Bug Description

Binary package hint: libgnomevfs2-common

At least in version 2.14.2-0ubuntu1, the package provides /usr/share/gnome/applications/defaults.list as a broken link to /etc/gnome-vfs-2.0/defaults.list, but it does not exist.

Steps to reproduce:

1) sudo apt-get --reinstall install libgnomevfs2-common
2) ls -la /usr/share/gnome/applications/defaults.list
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 32 2006-09-28 21:21 /usr/share/gnome/applications/defaults.list -> /etc/gnome-vfs-2.0/defaults.list
3) ls -la /etc/gnome-vfs-2.0/defaults.list
ls: /etc/gnome-vfs-2.0/defaults.list: No such file or directory

Thanks for your bug. Confirmed, Debian uses that file and that's probably a small issue from the merge. That's just a cosmetic issue though since Ubuntu uses /usr/share/applications/defaults.list and desktop-file-utils ships that list

 gnome-vfs2 (2.17.1-0ubuntu2) feisty; urgency=low
 .
   * debian/libgnomevfs2-common.links:
     - don't list defaults.list, it's shipped with desktop-file-utils for Ubuntu
       (Ubuntu: #62841)
