Kiosk admin tool tries to login with root account

Bug Description

Kiosk admin tool use fish with localhost to modify files. It tries to login with root account wich is disabled by default on kubuntu.

Temporary fix is to enable the root account :

sudo passwd root

Same over here on Kubuntu Dapper Drake (KDE 3.5.2, Kiosktool 1.0)

How should this bug being fixed ?

Should Kiosk detect if it run as non sudo user as adept does ?
Or
Should it run for instance run kdesu or gksudo ?

If someone from the kubuntu-team does have the answer, I will try to propose a patch.
