Bug Description

hello

it's have a new pc so it is the first time i use kubuntu my problem is that after a few downloads with adept package manager it does not work anymore after i wrote my password i get this massege

The APT Database could not be opened! This may be caused by incorrect APT configuration or something similar. Try running apt-setup and apt-get update in terminal and see if it helps to resolve the problem.

what do i have to do that adept does work again.

Could you open a support request as this is an individual problem with
your apt sources.list?

https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+addticket

Link to this bug in your request as the support team can see.

Thanks

i have this bug too,
it's says i have to launch "apt-setup" and/or "apt-get update"

but i do (update and upgrade) and it doesn't change anything...
i only use apt now, adept doesn't want to launch...

i've got this bug from the HERD2 to the Beta version of kubuntu.
and yes, i was root when i launched adept_manager

This error is being caused by an invalid source in the "sources.list" file
By default when this file is modified using Adept Manager "sources.list.save" is created as a backup
Open a konsole & try the following command:
sudo cp /etc/apt/sources.list.save /etc/apt/sources.list
Hope this helps
