Bug Description

The new shell in Edgy causes eciadsl to stop working. Suggested fix (I haven't confirmed this) is to change the top line from #!/bin/sh to #!/bin/bash.

Would probably be better to fix this in the package than to have other, less-ideal suggested fixes floating around.

for more.

Explicity invoking bash in the scripts as above worked for me. But I also had to change the script mount lines to refer to usbfs not usbdevfs.

Changing the script to bash worked for me as well. But changing the symbolic link /bin/sh to refer to /bin/bash was also pretty good (when doing various things, bash 'just works'. It may be a bit slower, but hey, better than running around wondering why everything you use complains of an unexpected token '(' at every turn. :P

I'm afraid that eciadsl has been removed from Debian and also Ubuntu since Hardy:
