"The upgrade aborts now" - except it doesn't

Bug Description

Due to a bug in python-logilab-common my upgrade to edgy failed. The dist-upgrader popped up a dialog with the following text:

The upgrade aborts now. Please report this bug against the 'update-manager' package and include the files in /var/log/dist-upgrade/ in the bugreport.

There's a few problems here:

 (1) "The upgrade aborts now" isn't very idiomatic. "The upgrade will abort now" (or 'now abort') would be better.
 (2) The upgrade _doesn't_ actually abort, apt-get was happily churning along in the background and the main dist-upgrader window was still being updated (even though I couldn't give it focus)
 (3) It asks you to report a bug but doesn't tell you how. At least it should point you at some URL in Launchpad?
