Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-app-install

The text of this dialog reads:

"Ubuntu and third party vendors offer you a large variety of applications, that you can install on your system."

At the very least, the comma following "applications" is incorrect and I think "third party" should be "third-party".

My dictonary says:

third party
third party
n 1: someone other than the principals who are involved in a
          transaction
2: a political party organized in opposition to the major
        parties in a two-party system

Is the comma really wrong or could it be skipped (I am no native speaker)? I think that it improves the readability.

Third party is definitely OK then. The comma is definitely incorrect, however. It SOUNDS more correct to my ear if you change "that" to "which", but either way it isn't grammatically proper. It is not something most users will notice, but I believe that a professional image for the project relies on a professional presentation, and if the software contains spelling/grammar errors, it looks amateurish. And it is definitely not amateur.

It's a little off-topic, but I'll also mention that I think the improvements to Add/Remove in Edgy are wonderful.

Thanks for your bugreport.

I fixed the "," in my local repo and it will be part of the next upload. How would you phrase this sentence so that it sounds professional? Note that I'm not a native speaker so help with getting these things right is very much appreciated :)

Cheers,
 Michael

P.S. I'm very happy that you like the new g-a-i design :)
