apt-get remove --purge libebook1.2-9 or apt-get remove --purge libecalk1.2-9 removes :

bug-buddy contact-lookup-applet deskbar-applet evolution-data-server gnome-applets gnome-control-center gnome-panel gnome-session gnome-terminal libebook1.2-9 libedata-book1.2-2 libedataserverui1.2-8 nautilus nautilus-cd-burner

Thanks for your bug. Could you explain why you consider that as a bug? Those applications just use that library
