Bug Description

Binary package hint: xchat

Bug in xchat 2.6.6-0 for dapper.
rather simple bug, typing words like "shouldn't" or "can't" break the spell checkers parsing of the text input, it marks the words as misspelt though they are spelled correctly.
it also offers the same word as a suggestion, lets take shouldn't for a case study, if you type it you will get it marked as bad, it will offer "shouldn't" as a correct spelling, clicking that will replace "shouldn't" with "shouldn't't" and it will mark the "shouldn" part as bad again.

it seems obvious that the ' char is the cause of the problem but it might happen with others as well that are less obvious.
