Bug Description

Binary package hint: linux-amd64-generic

Distri: Ubuntu Edgy 64Bit, Knot3 and Beta (Dapper works)
Motherboard: Asus M2N32-SLI Deluxe/Wireless Edition

This is what I get, when I try to start the Linux from the CDs or an updated:

Hi there,

Have you tried upgrading to the latest BIOS (version 0706)?

I am running Edgy amd64 on my Asus M2N32 system with this BIOS with no kernel panics.

ah ok it works with this Version I had the 06xx one and thought it would be the newest ;) But why does Edgy have troubles with this and Dapper not?
