Bug Description

Binary package hint: kdm

I start a new session by k-menu->switch user->start new session.
However, when I log of the other session I am not returned to my other session but get a black screen. I manually have to press ctrl+alt+F7 to get back to my session #1

note: I was using the same user account. I don't know it that changes anything.

Thank you for reporting this bug.

I couldn't reproduce it with Kubuntu Feisty Herd 4 and the "ati" video driver.
What version of Kubuntu are you running? Do you still have this problem with Edgy or Feisty? What video driver are you using?

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Now that the final version of Feisty Fawn is available we were wondering if this issue still exists. Thanks in advance.
