Bug Description

[Malone is not letting me select nm-applet as the package for this bug, although when I click "Choose" nm-applet is selectable in the list]

When I login, it NetworkManager first connects to an unsecured wireless network. When I then select a WPA network, it simultaneously brings up two dialogs asking for my keyring password. I answer them both with my password and it continues correctly.

Apologies, forgot to mention that this is with edgy, while it worked correctly in dapper.

I have the same issue. Also worked correctly with Dapper but not with Edgy. My wireless chipset is an ipw2200, and my secure network is a WPA2-TKIP.

Is this really a duplicate of bug #31286? This has nothing to do with suspend-resume for me. And yes, this behavior still occurs in 6.06 with all the updates.

David: if you look at bug report #31286, that bug is not only for suspend-resume, but it also occurs for people at login as well (as now indicated in the title of that other bug report). So I think that was a correct call to call this report a duplicate of the other one.
