the build succeeds on debian unstable

Session terminated, killing shell...checking whether code in malloc()ed memory is executable... Terminated

I cannot confirm this on my build against current repo...should this still be open?

David, I don't care if you can reproduce it against your personal current repo. You should be able to give back the package and see if it times out again with the current maverick archives.
