APM suddenly suspends in Dapper, Edgy Beta [06.10.06]

Bug Description

APM suddenly suspends without any reason.
This causes turn off the screen and turn on.
Ubuntu Dapper, Edgy Beta updated to [06.10.06].
PII-350, Nvidia Riva TNT2/PRO

If I stop apmd deamon in Administration->Services I have no sudden suspendings. I see problem with apmd deamon.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you? Can you try with latest Ubuntu release? Thanks in advance.
