xfmedia freezes when attempting CD playback

Bug Description

Binary package hint: xfmedia

When trying to playback a CD, the playlist is successfully generated and the music starts. After a few seconds though the sound stops and the application becomes unresponsive.

Playing the same CD using XMMS works fine.

BTW: I am running Xubuntu 6.06.
