System Tools Backends uses 9 mb of writable memory

Thanks for your bug. We don't have easy solution for that at the moment, we will try to work with upstream to make that better though

I'm reopening this bug since I suffer from this bug with version 2.6.0-0ubuntu7 on a Xubuntu Hardy 8.04.
I also found even more memory issues, as I have described in bug #238183, but those don't have to be related to this bug.

please open a new bug rather, this bug was closed two years ago, the code probably has changed and the bug you're suffering could not be related to this one. thanks.
