evolution crashes since last edgy update

Thanks for your bug. Do you still have that issue? The bug you point states the crash happens when using the gnome-keyring, evolution-data-server is built without the keyring option for some days now though

Which version of Ubuntu and evolution do you use?

I'm still having this issue. I'm using edgy, evolution 2.8.1-0ubuntu1

The crash happens when accessing to my Courier IMAP server. I think gnome-keyring is not the problem.

Running evolution with --disable-eplugin flag still crashes

That backtraces look like http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=359520 upstream. What do you do to get the crash? If you get it on startup you might want to drop the cmeta file for the mailbox which is opened on startup

I simply start evolution, but the initial folder selected is a search folder, which I'm afraid its triggering the crash.

Deleting cmeta from the folder has resolved the crash.

I think it's a dupe of #359520, so seems like this is fixed in CVS http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=359236. Seb, can you apply the patch to edgy package?
