Bug Description

PS/2 varients work fine, after a few seconds typing on the keyboard the thin client will completely lock up and require a hard reset.

Dapper works fine.

I installed Wacom tablet support as per the wiki:

$ sudo chroot /opt/ltsp/i386 apt-get install xserver-xorg-input-wacom wacom-tools

Rebuilding the LTSP client I notice that xserver-xorg-input-wacom is already installed and skipping this step produces a system that works ok: i.e. keyboard and mouse are functional. However the tablet does not work. Is this an work-in-progress for wacom-tools?

do you have any mouse settings set in /opt/ltsp/i386/etc/lts.conf ?

I start from a clean LTSP client and install wacom-tools and no /dev/input/wacom is created, therefore I presume the apt-get of xserver-xorg-input-wacom killed the USB functionality as originally reported.

Issue now is Wacom tablet support doesn't work at all.

My fault. The beta ISO ships with 2.6.17-10-generic yet LTSP builds with 2.6.17-10-386 and couldn't find the necessary USB modules. apt-get update the LTSP server, manually select the 386 kernel and things work correctly.

Wacom USB works, tablet functionality requires dexconf changes and installation of wacom-tools.

Case closed.
